Product Concept
When an existing subscriber of Ufone convinces any of his/her friends or family members to join the Ufone network, their cell phone numbers will get linked together. Once this binding has taken place, the inviter will gain a commission, in shape of on-net free minutes, whenever the invitee performs any revenue generating activity.
Furthermore, to make the product more attractive, 10 on-net free minutes, with a validity of 3 days, will be given to the inviter on providing each reference.
Product Mechanics
The product is designed for two levels of the inviter-invitee relationship. Each inviter can bring-in 10 invitees.
This means that ‘Sub A’ (inviter) can bring-in 10 ‘Sub B’ (invitees), and each ‘Sub B’ can bring-in 10 ‘Sub C’. The commission distribution among the two layers will be as follows:
1. ‘Sub A’ introduces ‘Sub B’ to Ufone Network:
· ‘Sub A’ will get 10 on-net free minutes with validity of 3 days for the reference.
· On every revenue-generating-activity that ‘Sub B’ will perform, ‘Sub A’ will get on-net free minutes equivalent to 1.5% of B’s usage.
2. ‘Sub B’ introduces ‘Sub C’ to Ufone Network:
· ‘Sub B’ will get 10 on-net free minutes with validity of 3 days for the reference.
· On every revenue-generating-activity that ‘Sub C’ will perform, ‘Sub A’ will get on-net free minutes equivalent to 1.0% of C’s usage, and ‘Sub B’ will get on-net free minutes equivalent to 1.5% of C’s usage.
1st Level CommissionTotal Commission to Invitee

1.0% of ‘Sub C’ monthly usage
Business Rules
1) This offer is valid for Prepaid only.
2) Each inviter can refer to 10 invitees.
3) This promotion will be applicable to new sale as well as port-in sale.
4) Inviter’s activation date should be smaller / prior than invitee activation date.
5) 10 upfront on-net free minutes will be given to the Inviter each time he/she will bring in a new customer. The validity of these minutes will be 3 days. These minutes will be given within 24 hours.
6) If someone activates MGM on same day and then de-activates on same day, then the record will be ignored, and no commission will be disbursed.
7) Inviter and Invitee both can change the package without effecting commissioning rules. However, if either one changed to post paid the link will be severed.
8) If ‘Sub B’ deactivates (ported-out, account is churned, converted to post paid) then all the links between ‘Sub A’ and ‘Sub C’ will break.
9) If ‘Sub A’ deactivates (ported-out, account is churned, converted to post paid), then ‘Sub B’ and ‘Sub C’ will remain linked.
10) If ‘Sub C’ deactivates (ported-out, account is churned, converted to post paid), then ‘Sub A’ and ‘Sub B’ will remain linked.
11) Inviter cannot be changed throughout the life of that connection.
Commission Disbursement Rules:
1) The regular commission will be given in the form of bonus on-net minutes.
2) Validity of free minutes will be 15 days.
3) The commission to Inviter will be given on the Invitee’s usage after the consumption of free pre-loaded balance of RS 100.
4) The commissions will be calculated on monthly usage (calendar month).
5) The free minutes will be uploaded on 15th of every month.
6) The inviter will keep on receiving the above mentioned rewards for a period of 6 months.
7) The commission will be applied on any revenue generating activity:
a) The usage will be exclusive of taxes.
b) Voucher recharge and ULoad will not be considered as revenue generating activity.
c) UShare and service charge on card loading will not be considered as revenue generating activity.
789 Call Center Process:
· A new customer after activating his/her SIM through 789 will inform the call centre agent that he wishes to join the MGM scheme.
· The customer will provide the inviter’s MSISDN to 789 call centre agent.
· The CC agent will confirm that Inviter’s activation date is prior to the subscriber’s activation date.
· After the process is completed, both the inviter and the invitee will be notified through an SMS notification (within 24 hours) that their numbers have been linked together.
333 Help Line Process:
· A new customer will call 333 Helpline and will inform the CC agent that he/she wishes to join the MGM scheme.
· The CC agent will confirm that the activation date of the subscriber is not greater than 7 days.
· Subscriber will be required to provide the inviter’s MSISDN.
· The CC agent will confirm that Inviter’s activation date is prior to the subscriber’s activation date.
· CC agent will enter the MSISDN in CARES front-end access under the activity “Add Referee”.
· After the completion of the process, the subscriber will be informed that he/she can refer 10 persons and become their inviter.
· After the sale is finalized, both the inviter and the invitee will be notified through an SMS notification (within 24 hours) that their numbers have been linked together.
· A subscriber will be consider a new sale if he/she will put in a request within 7 days of the activation date.
