Samsung vs iphone. Will iPhone be able to steal Samsung's thunder?

This month marks the era of the inventions as far as the mobile phones are concerned. With iphones on it's way to release it's latest model in a couple days, Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Recently, in a three city event held in Berlin, New York and Beijing, Samsung went all-in on the phablet. The new Note 4 is a successor to last year's Note 3 and retains its 5.7-inch screen, giving it the image of the most sophisticated smartphone that the company has ever released. With iphone 6 to be out in a few days, Samsung will not let iphone get ahead in the smartphone battle, as the Korean company reported to have said in it's IFA 2014 press conference that they're already planning to release the latest Note 4 next month. It will feature a 5.7 AMOLED display with 16 M colors . It will also have a 2.5D glass for an amazing floating effect, dual shot, Android OS, v4.4.4 ,optical image stabilization feature, Micro SD up to 64 GB memory card and internal space upto 32 GB. It will be featured in various colors such as Frosted white, Charcoal black, Bronze Gold, Blossom Pink with metallic frame surrounding the display. And lastly The battery charges super fast. With all those features summed up in one body, looks like Samsung is making sure iphone won't steal away their thunder.

However, the highest end phone is the Sumsung's line is Note Edge, which is said to have slight variations to the Samsung Note 4. It has the same metallic design, soft touch back, 16 megapixel camera, heart rate monitor, same monitor, memory, software and lastly the very same multi window feature. It even has a Quad HD, 2560 x 1440 display like the Note 4, though this one is slightly smaller at 5.6 inches rather than 5.7. But the major difference is of the physical property. The Note Edge's screen is 5.6 inches and extends over the right edge and curves toward the back, creating a second display on the side of it. It can show weather and time while the phone is laid on a table or a nightstand. Once can add in menu icons of their choices for a quick access to apps they use frequently such as Netflix, Facebook, Gmail. It also includes a panel of tools such as a flashlight. iPhone has had this panel for an year now and now Samsung adopts this feature in order to make sure they are not lacking anywhere. Moreover, The Note phones borrow some concepts from personal computers. The button on the included stylus will act like the mouse button on PCs.

"On the right side of the Galaxy Note Edge, you can see a concave metal frame, when the device falls down to ground, the device is manufactured to hit the metal frame first," Kim Gae-youn, a senior executive of Samsung wireless division, said at a press conference for South Korean journalists after the company's Unpacked event in Berlin.
It's reported to have adopted glass with enhanced strength to cover it's curved display that makes the Edge note unique among the smartphones. Since both the models have 2.7Ghzquad-core processor as the Note 4, the phone's responsiveness is no surprise, in fact, it's good at detecting swipes and taps from stray finger movements and responds quick to both touch and phone's accelerometer. Both phones have 16-megapixel rear cameras to match that in the 5.1-inch Galaxy S5. The front cameras offer 3.7 megapixels, comparatively better than other smartphones. Software will help more people fit into selfies by stitching together a few side-by-side images. So, those who take a lot of selfies might love this feature and the front camera may become their new best friend.

With all those amazing facts about latest two model of samsungs, one can't deny that the title of iphone's true opponent is none other than the Samsung company and it has so far the most advanced smartphones. Seems like iPhone won't be able to steal the phablet thunder since the phablet's popularity had been increasing lately and people are more comfortable using one device instead of owing both phone and a tablet, hence they prefer a phablet that has every feature to keep up with the technology instead of just limiting to browsing, calling or texting.

The iPhone 6 with 5.5 inch will be the first phablet of the iphone company and it will face the Galaxy Note 4 that the iphone will have to beat. The most interesting thing about the face off will be that the Samsung is the Father of the phablets so far and with it's fourth generation, Samsung is confident enough to entrust phablets to lead the company mobile division while iPhones will be newly setting it's baby step into the business. So in order to succeed, iphone doesn't just need it's brand name but bring forth something solid and mesmerizing and completely different from the Samsung phablets because there is no room for secondary items in the market. It's rather challenging and fascinating. Hold your breath guys, the battle of the era is on it's way.
