INGREDIENTS:
WALNUT............................................ 1 1/2 cup
CREAM............................................. .1/4 lit
HONEY............................................. .2 tbsp
SUGAR............................................. .2tbsp(for filling)
FLOUR............................................. .2 cups
EGGS.............................................. ..2 ea
BAKING POWDER.................................1 tsp
MILK.............................................. ...1/4 cup
OIL............................................... ....3/4 cups
METHOD:
Take a saucepan and put cream,crushed walnuts, and sugar in it.Stir it and let the sugar melt. Now add honey and keep stirring till it becomes thick paste. Keep the flame low. to prepare the base for pie, sieve the flour(chaan lain), sugar and baking powder in a bowl. Now add milk, egg and cooking oil and prepare the dough. Take a pie dish measuring 9", roll the dough and put the base in greased pie dish. Spread the filling over the dough/base. Make thin strips of the remaining dough and place it over the filling in a criss-cross manner. Sprinkle a little milk over strips and a beaten egg.
Note:Bake for 30 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 150 degrees.
