BROMODOSIS is a medical text applied for Smelly Feet. It describes something smelly like that of a butter, cheese or vinegar like. Many people have this problem and they certainly irritate others more than they themselves are worried. Technicians have discovered many reasons for this disease. Some claim that it is because of lack of zinc in the body while some think it as a result of hormonal changes inside the body. Medication, Stress, drugs and alcohol usage, poor hygiene e.t.c are also some causes of smelly feet.

Common people think it a result of sweating that takes place in our feet inside some air tight closed shoes. No doubt, sweat is the reason but sweat it self do not spreads the odour. It is the bacteria that gets a chance to do their work by taking advantage of the moisture of sweat that surrounds our feet inside our shoes. These bacteria eat our skin inside and produce isovaleric acid as a by product leaving off smelly cheese like odour. The bacteria can't work if we are wearing shoes with a good ventilation because it needs moisture to do work thus closed shoes with socks on our feet are the best atmosphere for them.

CURE FROM THE DISEASE:

1. ZINC: If you having the problem because of lack of zinc do make sure to have "50 milli grams" of zinc daily atleast for 2weeks the problem will be cured if it is because of zinc deficeincy.

2. TEA: Keep 2 tea bags in warm water and soak your feet in it atleast for 30 minutes. Carry this out every night for a week. If the problem persists try it out for a few more days and when it is cured do make sure to repeat it atleast once a week to keep it apart from you.

3. BLEACH: You may use bleach solution to cure your disease but be alarmed this may dry out your skin too much. Just soak you feet for 5-10mins in a gallon of warm water with about 2tbsp of bleach for a week. It it makes your skin too much dry try adding a little bit of baby oil in the solution before soaking your feet. Rinse and dry your feet.

4. BAKING SODA: Add baking soda about 1tbsp in quart of warm water and soak your feet in the solution now Rinse and dry your feet. this will inhibit the growth of bacteria.

5. VINEGAR: Add half a cup of vinegar in warm water and soak your feet in it for about 1/2 an hour now rinse and dry your feet. Soaking your feet in apple cider vinegar is also very nice for this problem.
