As-Salaam alaikum, In Ayat 46 of Surat Kahfi of the Holy Qur'an (18:46), Allah, Azzah Wa Jallah, says:-- "Wealth and children are the embellishment of worldly life, and the good things that last (al-baqiyat-as-salihat) are greater with your Lord and greater in expectation." Material things are short-lived and temporary, but "the good things that last" will remain and endure forever. That is, their reward will continue into the hereafter... and the hereafter is far better and everlasting. What are "the good things that last"? Let us go the Court of the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, and find out. Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, reported from the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, that he said:--"MAKE PLENTY OF GOOD THINGS THAT LAST (al-baqiyat-salihat). It was said: And What are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "TAKBIR (saying: ALLAHU AKBAR), TAHLIL (Saying: LA-ILAHA ILLALLAH), TAHMID (Saying: ALHAMDULILLAH) and Saying LA-HAWLA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH." [Bukhari, Muslim and others].
