Mohabbat kar to lain lekin,
wafa hay shart chahat ki,
zara mujh ko bata jana,
k is daur-e-khud'gharzi mein,
wafa ab kon karta hay?
wafa kaanton ka rasta hay,
to kaanton pay chalay ga kon?
wafa hay khail aatish ka,
to aatish mein jalay ga kon?
wafa hay maut ka sauda,
yahan baichay ga sansain kon?
Wafa hay rat'jaga Mohsin,
yahan jagay ga ratain kon?
wafa khud ko mitana hay,
yahan khud ko mitaye kon?
Mohabbat kar to lain lekin,
Mohabbat ko nibhaye kon?
